Moringa oleifera plant is a multipurpose tropical tree native to Northern India and also grown in other tropical and sub-tropical places around the world. Moringa plant comprises of the seeds; which are removed from matured pod and eaten raw or as preferred, seed oil; is the oil gotten from a matured seed in which can yield up to 38-40% edible oil called ‘ben oil’. The seed cake which is left after extraction of oil is as fertilizer or as a flocculent to purify water. The roots, bark and leaves of the tree are also used for one or more purposes.

Exportation of moringa can be of different forms; seeds can be removed from pod and packaged in a dry container, leaves can be dried and milled and exported as powder.
